Why a business account is different
When a personal profile is disabled, you lose photos and contacts. When a business profile is disabled, you lose a sales channel. Customer messages go unanswered, the booking link disappears, the shop and catalogue stop working and the ads that pointed to the profile switch off.
A business account is also rarely on its own. It is usually connected to a Facebook Page, an ad account and a business portfolio, and Meta treats them together. A ban can travel in both directions: a problem with the ad account can take the profile down, and a disabled profile can restrict the Page and the ads.
The triggers we see most often in business accounts:
- false reports from a competitor, typically copyright or impersonation claims,
- a sudden change in activity, for example a new social media manager logging in from another country or phone,
- scheduling, automation or “growth” tools acting on the account,
- giveaways, follow-for-follow or bought engagement,
- a link to an older profile that was banned,
- a plain automated error.
If this is a personal profile rather than a business one, see Instagram account disabled. A disabled business account is not necessarily a lost one, but the first steps decide a lot.
What to do now
- Screenshot the notice. Save the date and the exact wording. The appeal window runs from the decision.
- Appeal from the notice itself. If the app offers an appeal, use it. Keep it short and factual: say it is a real business, operating under this name, and what the account is used for.
- Check linked assets. Open Account Quality in Meta Business Suite to see whether the Page, the ad account or the business portfolio were restricted as well.
- Pause scheduling and automation tools. Do not keep logging in from several phones and laptops. Keep activity calm while the case is open.
- Tell customers through other channels. Your website, email list or WhatsApp. Customers who cannot find you on Instagram assume you have closed.
- Do not open a replacement profile on the same phone, email or Page. It can be treated as ban evasion and make things worse for every linked asset.
- Do not pay anyone who messages you offering to restore the account. It is a scam aimed at businesses in exactly your situation.
When we take over
A standard appeal works for some accounts. For many business accounts it ends in a refusal or in silence. It is worth handing the case over when:
- the appeal was refused and you see “You cannot request another review of this decision.”,
- there was no appeal option, or the window has passed,
- the ban also took down the Facebook Page or the ad account,
- the account is where you sell or take bookings, and your team cannot spend days on appeals.
We start with a free assessment and look at the whole picture: the profile, the Page, the ad account and how they are linked. We tell you plainly what the odds are and what it takes, and if the account really broke the rules, we say so before any contract. If your ads stopped as well, see Meta ad account disabled. For every type of case we handle, see our Instagram account recovery service.
How we run your case
Free assessment
You describe the case and send screenshots of the notices. We check what happened and what the real odds are. It costs you nothing.
Quote and contract
After the assessment we quote your case, always before any work starts. You sign a contract with a registered Polish company and receive a VAT invoice.
We run the case
We work several routes at once, chosen for your situation. You always know what is happening. Only you log in to the account.
Lock it down
After recovery we secure the account so it does not happen again, and show you the RESCUNO app that watches it every day.
What it costs
Every case is quoted individually, after the free assessment. A personal account is not priced like a business profile, a Page or an ad account with a budget.
You pay 50% to start and 50% after recovery. The first half pays for the work, not the result. What happens to it if the account cannot be recovered is written into the contract before you pay anything.
You know the amount before we start. It never changes mid-case.
What we do not promise
- We have no special line into Meta. We use the routes available to account owners, and we use them properly, quickly and with evidence.
- Accounts banned for real violations usually cannot be recovered. We tell you in the free assessment, not after payment.
- We do not guarantee the outcome. The contract covers diligent handling of your case.
- We never ask for your Instagram or Facebook password. Anyone who does is a scammer.
Frequently asked questions
Can a disabled Instagram business account be recovered?
Often it can, particularly when the ban came from false reports or an automated error. Not always. The free assessment tells you plainly what your odds are before you pay anything.
Will I lose my followers and posts?
If the decision is reversed, the account usually comes back as it was, with its followers, posts and messages. That is one of the reasons it is worth fighting for the original account.
Should I open a new business account in the meantime?
Be careful. A new profile on the same phone, email or Facebook Page may be treated as evading the ban and disabled too, sometimes together with the Page and ad account. Talk to us before you do it.
Do you need my password?
No. We never ask for your password or login codes. Only you log in, from your own device.
