Why accounts get disabled “for no reason”
Most account bans today are decided by Meta’s automated systems, not by a person. The system reads signals: a sudden spike in activity, logins from new places, reports from other people, similarity to accounts already flagged as spam. That is how an account that broke no rule can still be disabled. The causes we see most often:
- a wave of false reports, for example copyright claims, filed by a competitor or a scammer,
- a link to another account that was banned earlier,
- automation apps, bought followers or “growth” tools,
- the system deciding the account impersonates someone or belongs to a minor,
- a plain automated error, especially during waves of mass bans.
In 2025 and 2026 many people and businesses reported accounts being disabled with no clear cause. A ban from an algorithm does not mean the case is lost.
What to do right now
- Do not open a new account yet. A new profile on the same phone, number or email can be treated as ban evasion and disabled together with linked accounts.
- Screenshot the notice. Save the date and the exact wording. The appeal window runs from the decision.
- Appeal from the notice itself. If the app offers an appeal, use it. Keep it short and factual, without emotion.
- Check linked accounts. Facebook, the ad account, a second profile. A ban on one account can reach the others.
- Do not pay anyone who messages you offering to unban the account. It is a scam aimed at people in exactly your situation.
When the appeal is not enough
A standard appeal often ends in a refusal or in silence. The case needs more work when:
- the appeal was rejected and you cannot request another review,
- the appeal window has passed,
- the ban also hit Facebook or the ad account,
- it is a business account you earn from, and every day offline costs money.
In these situations we run the case for you. We start with a free assessment. If the account really broke the rules, we tell you straight away, not after you pay.
How we run your case
Free assessment
You describe the case and send screenshots of the notices. We check what happened and what the real odds are. It costs you nothing.
Quote and contract
After the assessment we quote your case, always before any work starts. You sign a contract with a registered Polish company and receive a VAT invoice.
We run the case
We work several routes at once, chosen for your situation. You always know what is happening. Only you log in to the account.
Lock it down
After recovery we secure the account so it does not happen again, and show you the RESCUNO app that watches it every day.
What it costs
Every case is quoted individually, after the free assessment. A personal account is not priced like a business profile, a Page or an ad account with a budget.
You pay 50% to start and 50% after recovery. The first half pays for the work, not the result. What happens to it if the account cannot be recovered is written into the contract before you pay anything.
You know the amount before we start. It never changes mid-case.
What we do not promise
- We have no special line into Meta. We use the routes available to account owners, and we use them properly, quickly and with evidence.
- Accounts banned for real violations usually cannot be recovered. We tell you in the free assessment, not after payment.
- We do not guarantee the outcome. The contract covers diligent handling of your case.
- We never ask for your Instagram or Facebook password. Anyone who does is a scammer.
Frequently asked questions
How long does an Instagram ban last?
A suspension can be temporary. A disabled account stays disabled unless the decision is reversed on appeal. After the free assessment we tell you which one you are dealing with.
Can a permanently disabled account be recovered?
Sometimes, especially when the ban was an automated mistake or the result of false reports. Not always. The free assessment tells you plainly what your odds are.
Should I just open a new account?
You can, but a new account on the same phone, number or email may be treated as evading the ban and disabled together with any linked profiles. Check whether the old account can be recovered first.
Do you need my password?
No. We never ask for your password. Only you log in, from your own device.
